SUBMITTING A Public Service Announcement to KGLT
As a service to our community and listeners, KGLT offers complimentary Public Service Announcements (PSA’s). Any Montana State University student organization or non-profit community group is welcome to submit information for airplay on KGLT. Also, KGLT will work with groups and individuals who would like to help neighbors in need.
The most effective announcements are simple and to the point:
• Event description
• Phone or contact number for information.
The FCC disallows calls to action on public broadcasting stations. A Call to Action is a statement or phrase that commands or invites someone to action. The best way to explain is by example:
The Last Chance Audubon Society in Helena will meet Tuesday, November 18th at 7pm at the Neighborhood Center on the walking mall. The November program is “Land Use Planning to Protect Wetlands and Riparian Areas”, presented by Janet Ellis of the Montana Audubon Society. This meeting is free and open to the public. For information, 443-2292.
Skiers! Want to add some extra gusto and laughter into your ski day?
